POSITION SUMMARY
USA Lacrosse is looking for an organized go-getter to join our team as a Coordinator, Partnerships & Events. This role provides administrative support to multiple areas of the team, including partnerships, events, and retail. You will get to be integral in managing and organizing the partnership and events processes to ensure the execution of all deliverables for partners and at USA Lacrosse events so our partners receive return on their investment (ROI) and feel valued, ensuring an exceptional experience from their relationship with USA Lacrosse.

A Typical Day Looks Like…
- Provides administrative, logistical, and operational support to the partnerships, events, and retail areas of the department. This includes assisting with sales presentations, database management, organizing meeting materials, providing support for renewals, and coordinating on-site logistics for events.
- Coordinates and manages required deliverables for all partnership agreements for events to ensure USAL is fulfilling its obligations. This includes any necessary follow up and collection and organization of collateral for partner activation at events.
- Works cross-functionally with marketing departments to ensure event-specific websites, social, and email are accurate, scheduled appropriately, and executed in accordance partner expectation and set schedule and cadence. Leading up to events and during event set up ensures event signage is coordinated and placed properly and signage is broken down and stored following the event for future use or return to partners.
- Provides assistance to the SR Manager, E-Commerce Strategy to ensure USA Lacrosse’s retail line of business runs smoothly. This includes, but is not limited to, helping with inventory management, providing customer support, and providing on-site assistance with the retail store at HQ and at events.
- Works closely with the marketing team on all email ad inclusions for partners, etc. (i.e., newsletters, social posts, etc.). This includes running reports and pulling stats from outgoing emails and newsletters for advertisers.
- Assists with the organization and maintenance of advertising deliverables including asset collection, placement, and tracking of digital ads on the USA Lacrosse brand and magazine websites. This includes ensuring all ads are properly branded and include all components of the advertising agreement. As needed follows up with advertisers and partners to ensure we have their ads/assets by the necessary deadlines.
- Conducts fact-finding research to assist with category development, inventory development, and the exploration of new partnership opportunities and trends to support the partnership team to increase revenue for USA Lacrosse. This includes conducting industry related research to stay current on cutting edge trends and best practices.
- Provides support to the Director of Events for assigned event specific sponsors/partners (i.e., the USA Lacrosse Experience, Brogden Cup, etc.). This includes, but is not limited to, direct communication with sponsors/partners and managing marketing deliverables for pre-event and on-site fulfillment.
- Works closely with the SR Account Manager to help organize and plan partner hospitality events, including pre-event receptions, clinic involvements, and other meetings to cultivate strong relationships with our partners and sponsors.
- Serves as the liaison for the partnership and events teams with internal USA Lacrosse departments, external constituencies, and partners, event vendors, and the general public to ensure all obligations and deadlines are met.
Is This You…
- At least 2 years of experience in administrative support and/or sales support role. Previous experience working in a partnerships or event management environment a plus.
- Previous work experience in a non-profit, association, or other member-based organization a plus.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
- Google Ad Manager, Trak, and Salesforce knowledge a plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to develop and build relationships and maintain engagement with internal and external customers.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, problem solve, and meet deadlines with exceptional attention to detail and follow up skills. This includes the ability to organize tasks according to organizational priorities.
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a hybrid (in-office/remote) work environment in a fast-paced, “roll up your sleeves” environment to deliver results.
- Ability to exercise discretion and understand how to handle confidential information when necessary.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to present a professional, customer-focused persona over the phone, in writing, and in person.
- Ability to be flexible with your work schedule, including the ability to travel for events and work nights and weekends based on USA Lacrosse events.
- Willingness to learn about the sport of lacrosse and appreciate the need to develop, grow, and fuel the growth of the sport with diversity, equity, and inclusion in mind.
- Ability to align with USA Lacrosse’s Mission, Vision, and Values to support its initiatives and organizational goals.
Expected Hours of Work
This position is generally expected to work Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm and occasionally requires longer hours or weekend work as related to events and other business needs. This is a hybrid position and works from the headquarters office in Sparks, MD three (3) days a week with the flexibility to work from home two (2) days a week.
Compensation & Benefits Overview
The hourly pay range for this role is $18 to $20 with the opportunity for annual incentive pay up to 15% of your annualized compensation commensurate with experience.

Travel Requirements
Travel may be necessary up to 25% of the time (local, regional) to support USA Lacrosse events. Travel would involve the following mode(s) of travel: car, train, or air. Some out of area and overnight travel may be expected.
